You can read on this article I picked up but just to recap, this man worked all his life making no more than 11$/hour and accumulated many millions of dollars.

The secret is actually no secret, he paid room and board with his sister, saved money to buy a duplex. He rented out half the duplex and over the years bought a few more properties and invested money. It’s obvious that the guy was cheap since he had no phone or TV.

Obviously he doesn’t need his money since he donated $2 million two schools. Can I have $1 million too!
