Senator Barack Obama

If you have been following the elections in the U.S I hope for the sake of your country that you won’t be voting for Mccain!  Taking the issues aside, look at who would really care and protect the american people.  I think Obama is honest about the issues and looks to find common ground instead stabbing his oponent.  Obama is presidential material!  Not someone who will just say what people want him to say so he could win.

Obama is patient even when McCain stabs him with stupid dirty lies.  Obama will stand his ground in a calm and asertive way and always prove him wrong.

Manta Ray wipeout

Here is a cool looking wipeout I would like to share with everyone.  I’m the one upside down with the feet in the air.  Search YouTube for the keyword “Manta Ray” and you will find some pretty scarry wipe outs.  If you don’t want to get seriously injured I would keep the speed at no more than 30mph.

iPod nano 4th edition

This is for you if you want something tiny that can play music or videos.  I like this iPod’s features: shaking the Nano will shuffle your songs, movies, music, slim.  You can use your Nano to workout and still get to see video’s if need be.  The 8 gig model starts at 149.99 but from Apple, expect more from resellers.

I would recommend this to someone that mostly uses their iPod for music and doesn’t want something bulky.  The video option might sometimes be useful but I don’t see anyone taking much advantage of a 2″ screen :- .

Sonic the hedgehod

This is a game that I do not recommend!  It seems like SEGA just rushed to get this game out in the stores.   How can they not notice the continuous slow downs, almost freezing when there is no action going on?  It happens too often…  The characters look stupid displaying the same movement when you speak to them almost like they are in a video loop.  Every character seems to make the same voice which sounds corny (Hey!).

On one good note the graphics are decent and game play, well I have played enough and don’t want to anymore since there is too many graphical glitches.

New iPod Touch 2nd generation

I have the first generation iPod Touch and looking at the features of this version is not much different.  One thing that I really want from this iPod Touch is the speakers!  I always have my head phones unplugged since they always get in the way so this would definitely solve the issue.  Other than the speakers, its the SAME THING, apart from a few minor changes like Genius which I haven’t heard good things about.  Some people that reviewed it call it a marketting ploy in order to get you to buy more music.  I believe it! I would still buy the new iPod Touch since its 100$ less than I paid for the first generation.  Well, as soon that I get rid of my current iPod I will probably get the 2nd generation Touch.  I really want the speakers!

I have an iPod Touch and I was comparing data speeds with the iPhone which was suprisingly disapointing.  My sister has the iPhone 3g, we both installed Speedtest on our devices and ran a few tests.

iPhone (3G):  253 kb/s

iPod Touch (Wireless): download -> 1445 kb/s

iPhone (Wireless): 838 kb/s

I’m not sure why my iPod Touch would have that much faster wireless data speeds?  More disappointing is the fact the 3G was that slow.  I also checked to see the coverage in Ottawa which is where we were but I’m not sure how accurate this map is as I don’t trust what Fido/Rogers would advertise.   So was she on 3G?  If she was there is no comparison to wireless!

Global Warming

Scientists have researched different possibilities regarding the change in climate and there is too much debate over it. The importance is getting rid of the pollution!

Whether or not pollution is the cause of global warming, who cares! Who cares if it’s a money making scheme! If global warming won’t kill us, pollution will. Having the government and private industry making the earth greener is all we should care about as our planet is being polluted.

Give me some feedback on what you think about the elections.  Personally I don’t trust Mccain and find that the best candidate would be Obama.
