This is a pretty neat concept demonstrated in the video shown below.  The device captures energy when the wind vibrates a special material at a fast frequency and then converts it into energy.

Pollution turned into renewable energy

Pollution turned into renewable energy

Sandia National Laboratories have discovered how to re-energize carbon dioxide and turn it back into fuel using the sun. They have proven their theory however will it be efficient enough for governments to invest in the technology? If successful, it would take 15 to 20 years before it is used in the market.

It is very interesting how they talk about applying this technology to coal power plants which they would harvest the carbon dioxide created from the fossil fuels and turn it into a fuel, perhaps gasoline, jet fuel, methanol, or almost any type of liquid fuel. Now that is recycling!

I hope these technologies along with others get applied soon otherwise everyone will get stuck with lung cancer. China is pretty bad, their carbon dioxide reached 18.57 million tons in 1999 and the lung cancer rate is over 1 million people new cases per year.
